Weeroona Services

Post School Services Program - funded through the Department of Communities (Disability Services).

Previously known as the Moving Ahead Program, the Post School Services Program (PSS) aims to support young people with a disability as they make the transition from school into adult life.

A Weeroona Coordinator of the Post School Services Program assists young people and their families to identify their aspirations and dreams for the future and then put supports in place that will best help the young person succeed at their goals.

Young people and their families can choose to use support in a variety of ways including to attend volunteer work, access vocational training, take on adult roles within their families and to participate in community life.

Eligibility, priority and funding levels for this program are determined by Disability Services; however Weeroona can assist families with registration and funding applications.
